Pros Are Just Using Their BO7 Settings in the MW4 Beta

Nobody rebuilt their setup for the new game. What 45 CDL pros are running in the beta, and what still has to wait for launch.

The MW4 beta went live on Friday. Weekend one ran 21 to 25 August for pre-orders, the open beta runs 28 August to 1 September on every platform including Switch 2, and the game itself is out on 23 October.

For a site built on controller settings, the notable thing is how little moved. Pros went into the beta on their Black Ops 7 setups. Sens and FOV are the same almost across the board.

That's mostly about familiarity. A sensitivity isn't something pros re-pick every year — plenty of players in the database have run the same number through three or four games. Changing it during a beta, on maps nobody knows yet, with a movement system nobody has figured out, just adds one more variable. Easier to keep the stick you know and learn the game around it.

So the numbers here work for the beta as they are. 21 of the 45 tracked pros run 1.70 sens, the average is 1.74, and the whole league fits between 1.60 and 2.10. On FOV, 18 sit at 100 with an average of 101.2. Deadzones cluster too — 1 / 75 on the left stick and 3 / 99 on the right for most of the league. The MW4 page has the summary and every player page has the full setup.

What can't carry over is anything tied to the weapons. Classes are out until the league publishes a 2027 ruleset, ADS multipliers only mean something against optics that haven't shipped, and the beta's graphics menu isn't final. Those get filled in at launch.

Until then, anyone who does change something gets updated on the updates page as it happens.
