The Esports World Cup's Call of Duty bracket is running right now at the Paris Expo, August 5 through 9. Group stage first, two groups of eight, then a single-elim playoff over the weekend. $1.8 million in the pool.
Two storylines carry the event. FaZe just won Champs in Vegas three weeks ago and can close the season with the double — CDL title and EWC in the same month. OpTic are the defending EWC champs from last year and lost that Vegas final 5–2, so they've got their own reasons. Falcons, Gentle Mates and 100 Thieves round out the teams people actually expect to make noise.
The bigger deal, honestly: this is the last professional Black Ops 7 event, period. Once Paris wraps on the 9th, the game's competitive era is over and Modern Warfare 4 takes the calendar. Every setting on this site — every sens, every deadzone tune, every GA'd build — is a snapshot of a game that's about to be history.
